Our St. Peters clinic is hiring a Behavior Technician with Paid RBT Certification, St. Peters, St. Louis, MO. At AB Spectrum, we believe therapy should feel meaningful, engaging, and fun, for the children we serve and the people who work with them.

About the role
As a Behavior Technician, you will work under the supervision of a BCBA and provide individualized, 1:1 ABA therapy.
We provide specialized ReggioABA therapy for children ages 1 to 6, combining evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a child-led, play-based environment inspired by Reggio Emilia.
What your day may include
- Teaching communication and language skills
- Building social and play skills
- Supporting independence and daily living skills
- Collecting data
- Following individualized treatment plans
- Creating learning opportunities through play
Not a desk job
This is an active, hands-on position. You will spend your day playing, moving, teaching, learning, and engaging with children rather than sitting behind a desk.
Pay
$18 to $20 per hour
Pay range: $18.00 to $20.00 USD per hour. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, and paid training begins Day 1. After you successfully obtain RBT certification, pay increases to $20.00 per hour beginning the following full pay period.
Schedule
Mon to Fri, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Full-time. No evenings. No weekends. The schedule is set around insurance-authorized therapy hours and cannot be modified.
Your RBT certification, paid for
- 100% paid RBT training
- Paid 40-hour RBT coursework
- 100% coverage of BACB application and exam fees
- The required competency assessment
- Ongoing BCBA supervision
- Coverage of RBT renewal fees
Certification is required within the established 90-day timeframe following competency completion. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
